I think you are very irresponsible for agreeing with Tom Cruise. Yes some of those things might work, and it seems it did for your daughter. But what about all the other women that have been on anit-depressants and those have worked. I think it is very irresponsible to say that any treatment that has worked is wrong. Let the mother decide what is right for her. I have gone through PPD, mine was very severe. I went on anti-depressants, and like Brooke Shields, i too took myself off of them. About a week later all my symptoms retured. I can tell you from first hand experience, my medication has helped me.
