In essence, Tom (a scientologist) made a statement on Access Hollywood (or something like that) to the effect that not only should Brooke Shields not have taken antidepressants for her PPD but neither should she be advocating that anyone else take them. He believes all women experience PPD (he's probably confusing it with Baby Blues) and all that's needed is vitamins and natural remedies (can't remember exactly what else he recommended beside vitamins). Tom also said psychiatry is not a science and cannot help anyone.
Real educated opinion, huh?
