Hi Karen, A very nice neurologist who experienced postpartum disorder herself is Dr. Alice Flahtery aflaherty@partners.org She's in Boston. She would likely be able to answer any questions you might have. She wrote a great book "The Midnight Disease" about the drive to write, writer's block and the creative brain. I think I have a milder version of what you're talking about mixing up words, I do that in writing, with here, hear, things like that, things I never ever used to do, and from what I've read of her book so far, it's fascinating how the various areas of the brain may be affected.
