Hi, this is the first post I've done here, but Helena has helped me so much. I have PPD and post partum OCD. It does take about 2 weeks for the meds to kick in. It is really important to tell your doctor if the obessions or compulsions are getting worse while you are taking the medication. It can be a sign that the dose isn't right or that another SSRI might be needed. PPD and PPOCD test patience when we are least likely to have it. Hang in there.
